Company Building as a New Asset ClassLecturer: Since 2007 company building/incubation has developed as new phenomena in the internet venture scene and has taken over a significant part of the entrepreneurial activity. Some of the most successful startups in Germany have evolved out of this context and more and more investment money is flowing in this segment. Our hypothesis - which we would like to discuss in this workshop session - is, that company builders, like Project A as one of the most relevant player in Germany, are establishing a new asset class for investors. In the workshop sessions we will first give you insights in the set up, business model and business/investment approach of company builders at the example of Project A. Based upon this we will engage in a deeper discussion around our hypothesis. |
