Klaus Froehlich

Chief Investment Officer, ADNOC

With extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), commercial and investment banking, capital markets, change management, debt and financial restructuring, Klaus Froehlich has been at the helm of ADNOC’s Group Strategic Investments Function since 2020. He is responsible for executing both ADNOC’s short and long-term growth and value creation strategies. Prior to joining ADNOC, Froehlich spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, including 17 years at Morgan Stanley and more recently for three years as Chief Financial Officer of the Saudi Binladin Group in Jeddah. Previously, he has held various roles at BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank. Froehlich is Founder of KF Advisory LLC, where he currently also serves as Managing Director, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Growthgate Partners Dubai. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK and is a member of the Institute of Directors.
