Sigrid Kozmiensky

Chief Risk Officer, ING Germany

Sigrid Kozmiensky is member of the executive board of ING Germany. As CRO she is responsible for ING’s financial and non-financial risk departments as well as for Compliance. During her professional career she has come to know the financial industry from various perspectives: She started her career at PWC leading audit and advisory teams in several German banks before she moved to the private banking sector holding different managerial positions within ING. In 2014 she joined the start-up of the SSM at the ECB and was responsible for leading supervisory teams for global systemically important banks. She acted as co-chair of the Crisis Management Group together with the SRB and as permanent representative at the Roundtable for Governance Effectiveness at the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. After returning to ING as Managing Director and General Representative in 2019 she was appointed as member of the executive board. She is a member of the supervisory board of the Bayerische Börse AG and a member of the management board of the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM).
