At WUTIS we are passionate about finance! We challenge ourselves and are always going for the extra mile to close the knowledge gap between academia and industry practice. We are the first independent student-run investment society providing a full-blown educational opportunity for any finance-driven student in Austria to learn more about the financial markets from like-minded individuals.

WUTIS’ goal is and has always been to make Vienna an attractive place for recruitment in finance. After 4.5 years in existence, we can state with pride that our alumni have entered the financial industry with placements at leading investment banks (Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Citi...), hedge funds (Balyasny, ZZ Vermögensverwaltung, AI Invest), private equity funds (Cinven, Triton, Blackstone, Auctus, Armira, Mutares), and tier-one consultancies (McKinsey, BCG, Bain...) and to this date serve as a networking and reference platform to our current members.
